Conceptual NavigatorTM Standard Edition version 1.01 has been released! [2004/07/12 18:00 GMT]

Conceptual NavigatorTM Standard Edition Version 1.01 is a maintenance release with several bugs fixed. It also has some new features:

  • new 'shareware mode' was added.
  • import tool for Internet Explorer favorites.
  • import tool for Netscape bookmark files.
  • tool to create bookmarks to local files (.doc; .xls; .pdf; etc.).
  • better search functionality, including an in-depth search mode.

Conceptual NavigatorTM Standard Edition Version 1.0 (final) is ready for download. The program has built-in data backup and restore functionality to manage its persistent data. Existing Concepts Editor 1.0 users can use an import command to import their data (both programs can, nevertheless, be used in the same computer with independent sets of data; import functionality can be repeated without overwriting already imported data).

Have you ever felt lost when accessing your bookmark manager? Have you ever felt the need to annotate a bookmark or make a quick note related to some search concept? Have you ever felt the need to have related information, annotated, and easily accessible from a single place? If so, Conceptual Navigator might be useful to you!

Conceptual Navigator has built-in web browser functionality; it also uses the framework presented in Concepts Editor 1.0, and adds more functionality to it. It is an enhanced version of a Bookmark Manager and a Comment Manager oriented by Concepts. It will improve the way you surf and store your information, providing a better association between your thought and relevant contextual information. You will be able to:

  • Annotate your ideas.
  • Associate comments with bookmarks to your files or to Web locations.
  • Associate lists of bookmarks with your ideas.
  • Do many other things!

Although this program requires registration to become fully functional, it will work in "demo mode" for evaluation purposes (in this mode it does not reload data from previous sessions). Please try it. More products will follow (plans).
